Dr. Bazrafshan has taught geosciences petroleum, geochemistry, mineral deposits and ore deposition geochemistry for seven years. Dr. Bazrafshan also has worked as professional in petroleum and mineral development industries for fifteen years in oil and mining companies in US as manager, project director, researcher and field supervisor in different states. He has conducted groundwater exploration and analysis of dam site and water resource development in Iran.

Research interests:
Geochemical exploration and development of hydrocarbon occurrences.
Geochemical exploration of precious and base mineral deposits.
Development of thermometric or heat distribution maps (topo and topological) of hydro carbon occurrences (maturation, migration, etc) and determination of physiochemical condition of mineral deposition.
